Researchers have created new technologies that can be combined with existing hardware to allow people using robotic prosthetics or exoskeletons to walk on various types of terrain in a healthier, more natural way.

Researchers have created new software that can be combined with existing hardware to allow people who use robotic prosthetics or exoskeletons to walk on various terrain types in a healthier, more natural way. The new framework incorporates computer vision into prosthetic leg control, and includes robust artificial intelligence ( AI) algorithms that allow better accounting for uncertainty by the software.
